This is an ancient Chinese sword pendant. It is from the Han Dynasty, 226 BC - 220 AD, and is beautifully carved from variegated caledon jade. A dragon is carved on one side and a geometric pattern on the other. Are you strong enough to wear it?
The bail is modern Continuum sterling silver developed by Stuller. Continuum has a much higher as-cast hardness and a much tighter grain size which allow a better finish that will last longer. It provides superior oxidizing and tarnish resistance compared to other high tech sterling silver alloys.
The large silver beads have intricately formed dragon images.
