The Seljuk Empire was a medieval, Sunni Muslim empire, in the ancient Mideast. It was founded in 1037 by Tughril (990–1063) and his brother Chaghri (989–1060), both of whom co-ruled over its territories. It played a significant role during the era of the Crusades.
I will include the original Certificate of Authenticity which I received when I acquired this cup from a reputable Mideastern antiquities dealer.
