Ancient Near Eastern pendant carved from agate or carnelian depicting a ruler or a god. Date is uncertain but likely 1000 - 100 BCE.
The setting and bail are modern Continuum sterling silver developed by Stuller. Continuum has a much higher as-cast hardness and a much tighter grain size which allow a better finish that will last longer. It provides superior oxidizing and tarnish resistance compared to other high tech sterling silver alloys.
Strung with modern smoky quartz, carnelian and oxidized sterling silver beads. Length: 19"
