Exceptional jade amulet carved to represent some sort of mythological creature. This amulet dates to the Han Dynasty of ancient China. The Han dynasty is considered a golden age in Chinese history, impacting Chinese identity in later periods. It was separated into two periods—the Western Han (202 BC – 9 AD) and the Eastern Han (25–220 AD).
The setting and bail are modern Continuum sterling silver developed by Stuller. Continuum has a much higher as-cast hardness and a much tighter grain size which allow a better finish that will last longer. It provides superior oxidizing and tarnish resistance compared to other high tech sterling silver alloys. Comes with an Italian solid 925 sterling silver rope chain: Length: 30 Inches; Width: 3.5mm.
