$125.00

This is a Pre-Columbian, terracotta roller stamp from the Tairona culture of Northern Columbia. It was used to make impressions in clay to designate ownership and/or for decorative purposes.

The Tairona were a group of chiefdoms which goes back at least to the 1st century AD and had a significant flourishing around the 11th century. The culture is known only from early Spanish documents and archaeological excavations.
